Halayang Ube

















Isa sa mga traditional food natin tuwing may mga okasyon tulad ng pyesta o pasko ay di nawawala ang ganitong mga pagkain tuld ng Ubeng Halaya. Mahirap mang gawin dahil nakakapagod ay sulit naman sa oras na matapos mo itong i-prepare dahil sa bango at sarap ay mapapa wow ka sa lasa. At ito ang mga sangkap  sa pagawa ng Halayang Ube.
 
Ingredients
 
3 Kilos Ube (Boiled, peeled & greated)
3 cans condensed milk
3 cans evaporated milk
1/2 kilo Sugar
80 gms. greated cheese
50 gms. butter
 
Procedure:
 
Mix all together (ube, condensed milk, evaporated milk, sugar & cheese in a big pan. As it boil add butter. Continue stirring until thicken. (Mostly 1 to 2 hours thicken)

Chicken Potchero

 














Ingredients:

1.)  1/2 kilo manok
2.)  Isang taling petchay
3.)  1/4 cabbage
4.)  3 pcs. potato
5.)  3 pcs. banana (Saba)
6.)  1 pc. onion
7.)  4 cloves onion
8.)  250 gms. tomato sauce
10.)  2 tbs. fish sauce
11.)  1 tbs. iodizesalt
12.)  1/2 tsp. brown pepper
13.)  1 cup water
14.)  2 tbs. vegetable oil

Preperation:

Fry potato and banana. Saute garlic, onion and chicken. Add tomato sauce and water let it boil for about 5 minutes then add the fried potato and banana. Mix with fish sauce, iodize salt and ground pepper. Add cabbage and pechay. Let it boil in 3 minutes then serve.

Ginisang Mongo















Sa amin sa lalawigan ng Marinduque ang tawag dito ay Balatong pero  pagluwas mo ng Maynila ito ay Mongo na ang katawagan at para maintindihan ng lahat ng mga Pinoy ang pambansang tawag natin dito ay Mongo. Masarap ang ginisang gulay na Mongo at hitik ito sa sustansya dahil mayaman ito sa Vitamin A. Ito ang isa sa mga simpleng paraan ng pagluluto ng ginisang mongo.

Ingredients:

1.)  2 cups mongo
2.)  1/2 cup ng malungay
3.)  100 gms. chicharon (crush)
4.)  100 gms. ground pork
5.)  1 pc small onion
6.)  4 gloves garlic
7.)  1 tbs. vegetable oil
8.)  5 tbs. fish sauce (patis)

How to prepare:

1.)  Boiled Mongo seed until cooked and tender.
2.)  In a fry pan, saute garlic, onion and ground pork.
3.)  Mix cooked mongo seed then add fish sauce. Boil for about 5 minutes.
4.)  Add malungay leaves and chicharon. Mix and boil for another 2 minutes.
5.)  Serve with fried tilapya or galungong.

Spicy Buttered Shrimp

















Ingredients:

1.)  1/2 kilo Shrimp (peeled & deveined)
2.)  1/4 cup Garlic (Chopped)
3.)  1/4 cup Onion (Chopped)
4.)  3 tbs. Butter
5.)  1 tbs. Vegetable Oil
6.)  1/2 tbs. Chili Powder
7.)  1/4 tbs. Iodized Salt

How To Prepare:

Heat the fryfan. Add Oil & butter. Saute garlic & Onion until brown. Add peeled & deveined Shrimp. Cook untill Shrimp turn to orange. Add Chili powder & Iodized Salt. Mix and serve.

Filipino Chicken Curry














 
 
 
Mang Damian Chicken Curry Recipe
 
1. 3/4 Chicken
2.  500 g Carrots
3. 500 g Potato
4. 4 gloves Garlic crushed Leg and Thigh
5. 1 Pc. Onion
6.) 1 Pc. Bell Pepper
7.) 1 Small Pc. Ginger
8.) 1/3 cup Milk (Evaporated)
9.) Curry
10.) 1 Tbs. Iodized Salt
11.) 2 Tbs.Starch
12.) Coconut Milk
13.) 3 Tb. spoon of Vegetable Oil
 
How to prepare
 
1.) Fry potatoes and Carrots until cooked. Set aside
2.) Saute Onion and Garlic in 2 tbls spoon of Oil. And add Curry and Coconut Milk
3.) Put a cover the Bulk until chicken will cook and add fried potatoes, Carrots and Bell Pepper
4.) Cooking time for 5 to 7 minutes or until sauce thickens and add 1/3 cup of milk and 4 cups of water.
